Noise Tinnitus
Tinnitus from loud noises
Tinnitus most often occurs as a result of hearing
loss which is caused by damage to the cochlea normally as a result of exposure to loud noise.
Most folk don't know that there are millions of minute cells in the cochlea that get influenced by the pressures of loud noises.
The stimulation of sound waves causes a stirring of the tiny hair nerve cells, which can be likened a wheat field
stirring in time with the wind. As a sound is perceived by the ear and those tiny hairs wave around, electrical impulses are discharged through the
auditory nerve which your brain then figures out to be a sound.
All those delicate nerve endings and the microscopic nerves are very easily damaged when you are exposed sudden to loud noises.
The auditory nerve damage is aggravated if you have been exposed to loud noises for long periods of time.
The delicate inner ear organs can also get damaged as a result of a bad blow on to the head.
The tiny hairs bend out of shape or even broken off and then send electrical impulses randomly straight to the brain which is interpreted as a
sound, even though there might be an absence of sound.
Other causes of tinnitus from cochlea damage are:
- ear wax removals gone wrong lead to tinnitus
- ear candling - a major cause of tinnitus
- diving accidents - those burst era drums cause tinnitus
- surgery to the head - a big cause of tinnitus
- inner ear infections - can also be a factor in tinnitus
Although high frequency hearing loss is permanent our tinnitus
treatment remedies have helped thousands of tinnitus sufferers dramatically lower the ringing in
the ears from a damaged cohlea.
