Diet fitness can come in many shapes and sizes, but one of the keys to ensuring you fit the exercise into your day is to adapt the tasks you normally do anyway.  Bustling around the home, running up and down stairs and preparing food in the kitchen burns calories, that's a fact.

So here's the hidden secret... while you do your housework, do it faster! Same with your walking. Do it faster. Not only does it transform drudgery to something resembling a high, you get your cleaning up and your tasks done faster, and you shed the pounds!

Another fitness secret is to vary your exercise.  There are a lot of exercise classes available such as aquarobics, and boxercise.  Many people also like to use  videos such as salsa dancing, yoga, and faster paced workouts by the professionals. You can do these in the comfort of your home, as well. That's great when you're just starting out and don't want to risk embarrassment. Besides, exercising at home also avoids stiff gym fees.

Home shopping channels also have some answers to diet fitness.  There are always new funky items coming out, such as the XL mini stepper and the pro abs swing.  To be honest, they are a lot less expensive at your local high street shop, but use them as inspiration for gear that might work for you.

To lose weight you have to burn as many calories as you eat, if not more.  To burn them you need exercise, whichever form you prefer. If you don’t exercise there is little point in dieting.
